| I have been looking at the door hinge removal tool to get for myself but I just cant seem to pay 180 bucks to remove maybe ten hinge pins. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=522550So my proposal is we take some of the money from Y U Bugg"N to buy the tool and keep for all club members to use when needed.

| I voted yes. I saw these things at bugjam, they are BEEFY. I'm also willing to chip in a little of my own money if we don't want to use club funds for the whole cost. My passenger door has the stock pin and I've got a threaded pin just sitting around but haven't been able to use it. I forgot about the pin before I had the car painted the first time, then once it was painted, I didn't want to mess up the paint. Then I had the replacement door and tried unsuccessfully to get the hinge pin out of it. Broke my dad's really really old vice  . And this was a MONSTER of a vice. That tool is supposed to work great and do very little harm to your paint. I don't mind touching up chips on the hinge, but I'm not about to use an air chisel and risk it slipping. fast forward to 55 seconds in.

| Get it. I could use it to mount the passenger mirror on the bus. It's been sitting in a box taunting me four years now.
