Hey I'm Adam. Just bought 78 Bay window bus. Champagne edition. This is my first VW project. My wife and both daughters (8 mo. and 2.5 yrs old) are excited about riding in it once I get it on the road. We are in Macon, GA and members of Bugs4Christ. I am mechanically inclined but know nothing about these cars so I thank you all in advance for your patience and help!

Haha I like the name! I still haven't found a name for my Westy yet! Hopefully I can get down there and work on mine!

Welcome from a '69 Westy (early Bay). You're in good company in that neck of the woods. We came down for the B4C Christmas Open House last year, nice folks.

I think middle GA has great back roads for cruising too.
