74 Bus - TBN Empty 74 Bus - TBN

Post by rican11 on Fri Jun 21, 2013 10:01 am

Came across this bus browsing craigslist yesterday and decided to go check her out.  Needless to say, a deal was done and I drove her home from Marietta.  She has been converted to a type I engine but she ran great all the way home to Lawrenceville.  She is not perfect but she in mine Laughing.

Put some compound and wax on a small spot and the paint did clean up nicely. Not looking forward to all the work but looking forward to the results. I did get an offer from my father in law to pay to get it painted since he hates Tennessee that much :-)

Looks like its in pretty good shape. You gonna keep it typeI or change it back over?

Oh, and I would kick in a little $ for the repaint as I feel the same about Tennessee...............Wink

Looks good to me. I hate Tennesee too but I don't mind certain shades of Orange on vehicles.

Will probably keep it with the type I at least until a deal good deal comes up on and engine.  That may be happening sooner than later 8)but so far she has been doing good on the road.  She is actually going on her first camping trip tomorrow but it has no canvas so we will still be in a tent but hoping that will be fixed sooner than later as well.
