axle(trans side) removal - 6rib
Hello, I couldn't seem to find a video or anything online to help me figure out how to remove the axles from my trans.
6 rib 091 bus trans - with the 6 bolt axles
Both ends are out of the hub. I can't seem to get them out of the trans.
?

Not sure what you are saying there. If both ends are out of the hub, the axle will be on the floor!
If you mean both axles are out of the WHEEL hubs, but stuck in the transmission hubs, Did you remove those bolts? (on the transmission end of the axles). If yes, just pop the side of the CV joint with a hammer, and it should turn loose. The bolts is all that holds them, but they do get lightly stuck in the flange.

Yes, meaning each axle is hanging from the trans, no longer attached to the hubs.
Yes, i removed the bolts. Ill try hammering again.

If the bolts are out, just pull down on the axles as far as you can. They should release from the tranny. but a gentle whop or two may still be needed. The bolts are all that fastens them.

If I weren't so dense, I'd feel dumb right now!
All I needed to do was make the page fit the screen!
Thanks!
