New addition - A 1970 vert

While working on my '75 today, the work was getting to be a little overwhelming. Decided to try and negotiate the local seller of a 1970 vert down...and SUCCESS! I got her for the price I wanted, and now instead of continuing to tackle the '75, I'm going to focus on building the '70 instead.

Started to mold the body with some metal lathe



Decided to go pick up this 70 model body:

Sweet. Lets get it on the ground with some 2 liters.

That's definitely on the wish list. May part out the '75 or sell it as a whole. The rear tires are still like new!

Thanks...hopefully with the donor car sitting right beside it, it'll progress much faster. I had plans for the '75, and now I'm having to re-envision everything. But that's part of the fun
