Found some old pictures of my first car. It's an '84 Rabbit. I'd like that have that shifter knob back! I only have pictures of the "before," though. I bought this car when I was 14. That also explains the crappy photog skills, because I took these pictures when I was 14, also.

I am trying to talk my youngest daughter into an early 90's cabrio for her first car, but she wants a Thing............Thing = $$$$$$$

Did you see the add where some dude posted two THINGs for sale together? They were 74 models, I believe but needed 100% resto on both. I found them a while back on CL.
