Testing the waters
I have a friend who has a very nice 79 SB convertible they would like to sell. My question is ,in these crazy economic times what are the chances of selling a vert in the Atlanta market at a fair market value? (7500 to 10K)
Should they wait until the spring when the weather beckens top down driving for convertibles and put it on the market?
Should they just sit on it for a year and hope the economy get better and sell it then?
Trying to get a feel for the market.
Thanks

Re: Testing the waters
the real question is how badly does your friend want to sell the car? at $7500 it may stay in his hands for a while yet, despite the "fair market value" of the car.
it is only worth $7500 to someone willing to spend that much.
lower the price enough and it will sell.
