Re: My 1975/77 Baja
Here's an update: Been pretty busy the last 3 weeks. Completely stripped the pan down to bare metal, welded up the loose spots. Had to go with an adjustable shift coupler, the 10 degree mount kit made the shift rod too long. Tried out the Master Series silver and Satin Black paints. Silver worked well but the black is way too thick to spray less roll it on as I did. Got the rear brakes adjusted and P brake works good. Had to shorten the Bowden tube with the 002 tranny. and everything is working. I also sprayed the Raptor Bedliner on the bottom and framehead area on the pan. Came out pretty nice. Only spray this stuff outside, even with my 3M mask you could smell it while working. Saving up some money to get the front tires, 7.00 x 15" Power King Super Traction IIs and Epoxy primer for the body. I also switched from the stock width front beam to a 6" wider version and now thr Rack-n-pinion mount does not work since there are 4 adjusters and the top 2 beam adjusters are exactly where the rack mounts sits. Need to order that new mount too. Enjoy the update.

Thanks Bryce, here are a few more pics of the bedliner I sprayed on the pan. The bedliner coating was still wet, it flattened out color wise when it dried.

Re: My 1975/77 Baja
Thanks, Zabo, I think I have the rack mounting situation figured out. I used the original butterfly style mounts and modified one mount into 2 outer mounts.
