6 volt wiper motor in 12V convrted bug
My '65 was converted to 12V before I got it, not sure if the previous owner put in a 12V wiper moder or if it is still the 6v. I'm assuming it is a 12v because it is still working and not burnt up.
My question. I have an excellent 6v motor that worked great in the '65 that I just tore apart. I'd like to install it into my car as the one in my car as a lot of play in the gears. I have a 12v to 6v reducer that I would use on this - has anyone done this and does it work well or am I better off selling the good 6v and buying a new 12v motor?

Re: 6 volt wiper motor in 12V convrted bug
I guess another question would be what is the amp raiting on the 6V motor. The reducer I have says if it is 4 amps then I need 1 reducer in line, if it is 2 amps then I need 2 reducers.

I'd bet these people know what you need. Why don't you call or email them.
