Clutch Question
I have a 1600DP I'm installing into a Super that has the bearing with the sleave on the trans. The 1600 P/P has a collar, will this work with a later throw bearing? The Super's engine P/P didn't have a collar.
Re: Clutch Question
Never done it, but I thought you were supposed to be able to remove that collar on the pressure plate somehow if you were using the later sleeved throw out bearing.

Re: Clutch Question
I am pretty sure the ring thing on the p/p comes off. Spins off

Re: Clutch Question
take the ring off if your using it on the late model trans with the sleeve. depending on pressure plate some have a snap ring others will have to be carefully cut off depending on manufacture.

Re: Clutch Question
if you have a pressure plate like this the collar removes by taking off spiral ring if you have a three finger PP just pull the clips off holding collar to fingers
