About time for an intro
Ok, so my name is Scott and despite the fact that I joined this site over three years ago, I just noticed that I never posted an intro. Sorry!
I am a long time water cooled owner, having had a few A1's and A2's and currently own a Rabbit 2dr, Rabbit Truck and GLI. I also have a Thing which has been in my family since '85, but has been off the road since the mid-nineties.
I have been a member of a few different Augusta VW clubs that have all gone belly up and was at one point a member of the Athens club.
Used to be very into my cars, but as my son has grown and my wife's career taken off I have had less and less time for it. For the past few years the only car focus that I have had is the BABE Rally, an annual adventure where teams run from the Big Apple to the Big Easy. If you are interested you can find out more about it and our team at www.foolswagen.com
I went to the YU Buggin' show a few years back when it was at the park next to the airfield. Looks like it has grown quite abit and hope to make it to the one next year and meet some of you folks in person.
