I'm gonna ask $2500.00.

For those of you that are following this saga, I cleaned out the carb, put it back on and it purr's like a kitten. I then put a good tire on it so they would all hold air and DROVE it down the street and back with the parking brake to stop me. The headlights and horn work, but no parking or stoplights. One more week and I would have drove it to CYW with holes in the floor. Maybe I'll drive it to Tims get together if I still have it. Videos to come if I can figure out how to do it.

Well, I didn't sell the 58 at CYW. I guess I was to firm on the $2900.00 price. That's OK, I picked up a few more goodies for it. It looks like it will be in line behind the single cab as far as projects. The Razor keeps getting pushed back.




I also bought some pop outs for it and a gas heater like I put in the Volksrod.

Sitting at the shop waiting on it's turn. The singlecab is in the works, then the Bonneville Belly Tanker is next, then the 58.

Well, Euro Trash is now an exciting new world of beetle repair. Going to retrieve it wed and bring it home. Initial plans are new pans and heater channel repair, strip it to original paint and get it on the road. all 4 Rims still have original paint under the black.

Yep, Shaky bought it without the motor. I just fired it up and drove it around the building. Damn, I hate taking this motor out. It runs so good!

Got it home safely thanks to Glenn and my friend Chris, needs a lot of work starting with pans, polished up the back of the deck lid and original paint looks good. Some kind of light green. Going to be tough to strip off 3 layers to get to original color. Love it that nothing is missing and has all the little pieces that make it complete. Speedo in KPH.Deck lid after some cleanup. Is this correct lid for 58?

Glenn broke a clutch cable on the way to my house this morning. Sexy Belly.

Original Diamond Green. Dash looks bronze due to patina but is diamond green under all that sun fading and oxidation.
