Lee's Colision Center
The new bus has quite a few runs in the paint and clear. I need the runs wet sanded, entire wet sand and re cleared. I found myself at Lee's Collision Center in Loganville, Ga off Hwy 78. I walked in and was greeted with a fairly nice "What can we do for ya?". I asked if they did wet sanding and re clearing. He responded with " We're not in the business of fixing other peoples screw ups". That immediately struck the "well fuck me" chord. I then asked if he could direct me in the direction of a body shop. We had a few more words, I gave him a "Fuck you" toot of the bus horn and went on my way. Later, my wife pointed out that aren't they in the business of fixing other peoples screw ups?
Any way, If you are ever in need of paint, body or collision repair please steer clear of this shit hole.

Paint and body shops usually dont like messing with regular customers. They like wrecked cars so they can deal with insurance companies.

So noted. That's why I need to find an off the highway Paul the Painter to keep in my back pocket. WTF, Earl Scheib will paint any thing for $99.95.Attorney Isaiah Loophole wrote:Paint and body shops usually dont like messing with regular customers. Hey Scott...just a thought but if you could come across someone that works in a paint and body shop looking to make a few extra bucks.....you could see if the would work on the bus on their day off and use a buffer to buff out your problems...all those should smooth out nicely as long as they know what their doing....would be better-faster and cheaper than re-doing the whole thing...like i said just a thought

I agree here. I used to be part owner in a restoration/ body shop. We really did not like to Fix other people screw ups. It would usually bite us in the But like Johnny said if you find someone who knows what they are doing they could do a color sand and buff to make it a little easyer on your wallet.
Re: Lee's Colision Center
Thanks guys. I assume since they don't "fix other peoples screw ups" it must get boring painting all those cars as they come off the assemble line
Re: Lee's Colision Center
I agree with those boys- I know from the custom painting I do- trying to fix F'ups is a big pain in the ars. Fixing some one elses- makes you responsible now, and one never knows what stupidity might lay underneath someones elses work
Re: Lee's Colision Center
Its not that they are just fixing someone else's screw ups they are fixing your bus. Just as they would if it were wrecked. You expected to pay for it. Its not like you asked them to make someone else's mistake good. What a dick!
