Got a hold od Nate at Wagenswest, to get the spindles sent off, also sent the torsion arms to him to do the ball joints, every one I spoke to horrified me about how much of a pain they are because the are so much bigger than a type one and quoted outrageous prices like they didnt want to mess with it, he was very resonable on the ball joints, as he was on his spindles so I over nighted everything to him and he said I'll have everything back by this time next week, so maybe everything else ordered will arrive in the same timely fashion and this ol girl will be in the weeds and rolling bounce

I'm kinda getting worried with WagensWest, he seems to be hard to get a hold of I spoke to him on the 4th and got the details of how I should send everything but I have not heard a word from them since I sent the spindles and torsion arms (for new ball joints) to him on the 5th. I sent them overnight so he got them on the evening of the 6th, the tracking info shows a signature. I waited a few days and called to make sure he got everything and to see if I needed to go ahead and pay first or what, I left a message and nothing, waited a couple more days and sent an email, and nothing, now I called Thursday and left another message and sent another email Friday, and of course nothing through the weekend, I guess i'm being impatient because I know Tim is about finished with the beam, but a simple reply email or a call saying yeah I got everything and it will be a couple days, weeks, months years....something. Has any one dealt with Nate to maybe set me at ease a bit as far as the time frame ETC.?

Now two weeks after I sent the parts out to WW I finally get a reply email saying he received the parts, but he didn't know why sent them to him (that stuff must grow great out in OR). So I replied to the email, again explaining in fine detail why I sent my spindles and ball joints to him and asked what the turn around was on receiving the finished parts back. Three days later he replied that he would call me when they were done, I politley responded that would be great, but when will that be so I know when I need to have my money right, three days later he finaly responded again that it would probaly be two weeks. My dubs, I drive them, they have never sat more than a couple days, this is driving me crazy, I dont understand what would take a month and a half to cut a set of spindles and press a set of ball joints when you have all the tools, and advertise that is your business, am I being unreasonable? do I not realize how much business he is doing? I mean this is the internet age, but it seems like we are doing business in the 1950s. Thanks for the vent lol.

Found the best way to get Nate @ wagens west on the phone, I emailed saying that I need to go ahead and pay him for his services he "promptly"(only one day after the orginal email) replied to call him today, and I did, and got his answering machine and as I started to leave a voice mail he picked up the phone(I think he has an old fashon land line and tape recorded answering machine), he was sort of apologetic explaining that he has been covered up busy, and that he hopes to have my spindles ready to ship on Monday and he even let me use my own shipping account so that means I should have them Tuesday with the overnight shipment. I'm sure something will go astray between now and then but I'm starting to get excited again about finishing this waiting on parts game. bounce

I spoke with him last week and he said he was gonna try to have them out by Friday, and I ran the tracking #s I sent with the parts and he had not sent them, so I called him yesterday and he told me he was gonna have them sent out by Friday, but I really can't hurry him because the beam is not finished either, but Tim is really close to finishing it, when I left his house tueday night he had the adjusters, and one side plate finished, I was hoping to have it all done by the Marietta dinner cruise but it just wasn't gonna happen, I bought some BRMs to go on it but the guy I bought them from didn't have the lug nuts so I had to order them and they won't be here til next week and not to mention the tires and its been busy at work lol so all in all it just wasn't meant to be for it to be done this week, not to mention all the things that will pop up needed on a first time install, I know I have to be missing something. How about yours how is it coming along, I'll check your thread for the update.

yeah I don't know what size tires I'll need to run on the front or the back with the15" 5.5 BRMs, I am not so much worried with the rear because I'm only using the 3.5 plates but the front we went about 4" narrowed adjustable and WW 2.5 drop spindles, do you have any suggestions on the tire size?
