54 home today going after the 56 Monday

Went after the 54 and Tim and myself got the old girl on the trailer for the trip home. Pretty ruff. A good many parts on this car. Going after the 56 on Monday. I will post a few pics

The 54 looks in failry good condition. Lucky man!

Cleaned out the 54, seats and all and other than heater channels and some other minor rust the car is ver restorable.

Ran the vin# and its a Jan. 1954 Oval. The visor is even good in it. Its amazing once you start to clean things up how much better they look.

no wolf rats or spider monkeys jumped on you in the cleaning proses did they

Nope ! Did find an AJC news paper from 1964. It had advertised a brake shoe special for $23.95 with a 30k mile warrenty. Thought that was cool.

Can't wait to get the 56 loaded tomorrow. It's going to be an adventure. There's no tranny, fun...

After going through the 54 Keeping it to restore, the 56 part it out. That is as of right now.

So you going to rock two ovals the 54 and 57? Sweet!

Going to try. with all yalls help i will. I will be looking for help and parts Im sure.

So many ovals. I have or should I say our good buddy Bryce has changed my name at my request. Since the yellow German Look is gone and that is what my son called it when he was little. I figured it was time to move on. So I am now vwovalchild. Thanks again Bryce
