Blasted the body, hood and decklid are panted...white base.. then the blue base...buffed to look old and flat cleared

very nice. looks awsome. i hope to never have to replace a set of heater channels in my life time, lol. i've been lucky, in that all my cars have always had solid heater channels. even my 61 that had the floor pans rusted away, and even the plywood that was used to replace them was also rotted away

I never wanted to either.. but....
My 63 and 64 both have great chanels too.. I just didnt want to patina a really good body.. now im ready to POR-15 the package tray and door posts and start the priming...

POR15 the heaterchannels as well, that way you'll never have to replace them ever again, .

What product or technique do you use to remove the spot welds? I've been using a reg. drill bit but it leaves thin metal on the piece I need to weld back to.

spot weld bit...until it get dull and then I went to a reg. bit.... just hit the places with a grinder before welding

Rust Bullet applied to package tray and underside... then sprayed with rubberized spray in bedliner.

spray foam...used inplace of the footballs for sound deadening...
