On Fri. we put the new stock engine we built in Jason's Bug and now his 1915 is in my Bug Twisted Evil
This is a well built engine with a LOT of power. I still need to dial the carbs in but I have to cut some access panels first. Here is a shot of Jason's new engine and a few of mine while I was installing it. I will post a completed picture later.

It's because it doesn't have any carbs to play with. It's all alone in there.

Did some research and talked to the guy that Jason bought his Bug from. Turns out my engine is a Steve Sands 1915 Smile
It has CB Wedgeport heads and match ported intakes. Randy was able to get me a copy of the last time it was dynoed and it put out 94 HP to the wheels and 106 ftlbs tq.

Well I sold Shadow. I sold it with the stock engine and without the accessories like the rack, fog, HID's, and tach. The new owner is picking it up in a week and then I am going next Sat. to pick up my new VW.... I'm buying a 1965 Ghia Shocked I've never had a Ghia but have been wanting one for a while. I'll post pictures as soon as I get it
