Time to go tubing :)

Well it is time for one of my favorite cruise we do. It is time to head to Helen and go tubing. We do this trip every year and it is always a lot of fun. As always we invite everyone to come join us. I would love to see all the Georgia Dubs come out and we just take over Helen for the day I have checked and the water is up and at a good level so I thought we would go ahead and plan to go soon. We will be going June 26th. We will meet at Discover Mills between 10:30 and 11:00 and plan on pulling out at 11:00. We will have a nice drive to Helen and go tubing. I will find some where for us to grab something to eat afterwards. This trip is always a lot of fun and we always have a good turn out. Hope fully this year will be our biggest year yet. I look forward to seeing you all then.

Ahhh- I've been waiting for this one! I've missed it before, and always have regreted it. Gonna try to save that date this time!

Dang, thats the day I leave to go to Florida for a week.

thats the same day we are leaving for pannama city well at least i will be around water just if i get in i might come out good and oiled up

Doodle Bugg, They have renamed each section of the coast line. You are now in the new 5w 30 section of Florida.

I think Helen was the first place I took my dog tubing... Funny how she decided to jump out of her tube and in to mine right as we were going over the big rock... she totally busted my knee!

This is a great cruise. Always fun. I hope I can get the day off and make it.

Me and Ashley should be there for this one!

Me and Kelly have this weekend free so we are planning to make it this year!!!

We have decided that instead of going somewhere to eat after tubing this year that we would do a picnic instead. If everyone will plan their own lunch and we will find a spot somewhere along the river to set up for lunch. We will try to get a spot with grills so those that want to cook out instead of sandwichs can.

Sounds like this one is gonna be alot of fun!! We are planning to make it if possible.

Just a reminder that this is this weekend

I'm not sure but Deb and I may take the bus and camp. Is anybody up for some camping?

I'm still suffering from a disassembled 'dub....but the Chevy has all parts attached...... and some aircooled stuff along for the ride! I am waiting to see what my work schedule is. Might not know till Friday.

I'm crossing my fingers that my fuel tank issues are resolved enough for a road trip. Hopefully the Weather Channel forecast is wrong and it doesn't rain. I still need to fix my wiper motor.

rainX will do wonders you want even need wipers i never had any on my ghia for two years you might have to slow up a little if it comes a bad turd floater but just take some rain X

Wow, just found out about this today!

Oh, just a reminder...

Be sure to bring some type of "water shoes"... The rocks are rough on bare feet. I got a pair of these at a K-Mart for $1 a couple of years ago.


Also, some sort of walking stick or tent-pole or something about 3ft long to help push away from the rocks while floating downstream.

Those two items (which I forgot last time) should make a huge difference in your enjoyment level.
