I've only ever seen the kits they sold to make your early bug look like the later bigger windows... that one is pretty cool though.

are you sure that isn't custom made? if you could get a split window section you could make one that did that? do they make rear safaris for beetles like that?

its a wanted ad and he is wanting info... so who knows...

either way, it would probably be easier to make your own than to find one. That is the only one I have ever seen or heard of

I agree, but I wonder with all of the curves in the glass how well it actually seals?

creative car craft sells a fiber glass split kit for the back of a later bug an someone more then likly made it from that there self

Probably like crap!! Razz Safari windows are totally flat and they never seal up completely, so I bet this leaks alot. You could probably waterproof the area behind the seat as sort of a catch basin and run a drain down behind the engine tho!! or let it stay full and stock it with some goldfish or something. geek

There was a company back in the nineties that made a fiberglass split window kit, it entailed cutting the vents beneath the window, and glassing in a piece that had the larger vents and split glass. Everyone of those that I ever saw cracked where it was bonded to the car, probably due to engine heat, and different expansion rates of fiberglass and steel.
