Next Aircooled Airheads meeting & looking for engine for 71 VW Bus

Hi there, I am new to this forum and would like to know when the next club meet is and where, for the Aircooled Airheads.

I noted that you meet on the second Satruday of the month at the Sonic on 155 in McDonough. What time? My wife and I would like to join you.

Also I am looking for an engine 1600 AE or AH for a 71 VW Bus. Anyone got one laying around?

Welcome Pete to our site, The Airheads meet every Month on the 2nd Sat 2pm - Till.....? Check the Airhead thread like the week before, we may start meeting in the square at McDonugh or be back at the Sonic. It's according to how we feel.

Sorry to here about the engine, I don't have any that I can give up.

I have an engine ,I will check tommorow to see what the code is on the engine ,but i know its a dual port just dont know what year

I have a good running AE Complete Engine that I will be selling.
It is complete - But Tin work / intake / carb etc. can be removed.

It is my test engine and is currently W/O intake or Carb (have been testing Carbs out on it). Let me get the intake back on it get some #'s for you.
