| If your willing to drive 2 hrs, I'll make a video of one of my engines on a Run stand and you can hear and see it prior to comming up to Dalton. I have a couple of 1600 DP, with some carb choices. I'm planning on putting one of them into the Ghia, but it'll be a while before it is road worthy...(I'm buying a house.) LMK and I'll make a video and put it on Youtube. Thanks, KC _________________ 1972 Automatic Stickshift standard beetle. Yes it runs well, no I do not want to convert it to a 4 spd.

| How much are you asking for one of those engines? I wouldn't need the whole topside (shroud, alt/stand etc, but probably carb/manifold) I'm curious-but just window shopping right now. |

| Sorry This is a long block. New Pistons, new big valve heads, used case, use crank turned 20/20. used Scat C45 cam with only 100 miles on it. New Push rods, lifters, I had a friend build it but did not complete. You might want to take apart and check to make sure He put it together right. |

| Let me get the engines on video, then you can hear and we can talk options (i.e. a new exhaust that I have, new intake, carb choice, etc...) One I have to paint the Tinwork on before I can run it ( I have it all off sandblasting / Painting it - I might put on some funky yellow tins that I have just long enough to film it...) I ran this engine awhile back on a BAJA that I had and I wanted to spruce up the tin before it went into the ghia. The other one I need to adjust the valves and change the oil I'll try to get video tonight or Thursday of these. I'll get pressure readings off the cyl's as well. (I love all my tools...) | Well, with the rain, halloween parties, more halloween parties, halloween - I have made NO progress on getting the stats on my engines. The wifeys Van blew a rubber trans line today so tonight is out for getting the tin back on. When I get to the point of posting the 2 engines data, I'll just start a new post for those that are interested. Thanks, KC _________________ 1972 Automatic Stickshift standard beetle.
