I'm looking for a place to camp on a beach or near it. Who has experience with this and can give me a few places to check out. Thanks!

If you're on the GA/SC border, I'd check out Edisto Island State Park. Not far from you at all. Camp sites are a "dune away" from the beach.

Camp Gulf in Destin. Expensive, but you are literally on the sand. Get site 815 like we did and you won't have any neighbors on one side. Only bad thing is it is a large campground with only a small beach, so the beach is crowded in the summer.

We've stayed at Edisto too. It was nice and close to the beach. Also love st.andrews in pcb, but you have to drive to the beach as the camp and beach area are further apart.
