January Camping Trip

The Augusta and Athens folk are getting together for a camping trip the weekend of 1-8-16 at Mistletoe State Park.
We will be making a big pot of Chili Saturday night.
If you are looking for something to do after the holidays come on down and hang out with us.

I'll talk to my wife. I'd LOVE to make it our first camping trip in the Westy. Primitive? and any other kids going to be there?

We are camping at a state park so there are water and electric hook ups. At this point no one that I know will be there has kids. (well, I have one who may come, but he is 17)

We can have two buses per site. I hope you can make it. The more Sage Green buses, the better!

As Hobug said this is not primitive camping..... Not certain how many will be camping ,but it will be child friendly .

So who else is in? I'll be leaving the Athens area mid-day Friday.

Anyone think it'll be full? Should we make reservations or just show up?

I'll arrive mid afternoon Friday and staying till Sunday. I'm looking forward to some bus camping and some fishing.

I will be there Friday morning. Going to try and get the area of 55 through 66 it's in a cove and the rest room and shower is close by.

And if the flood gates are still open we can take a ride to the dam about a 10 mile ride. Right now they are saying a week to ten days that they will be open. It's a pretty cool site to see when they are all open.

I would like to come but I have too much going on right now. For one I need to finish the bus.......Hopefully next time!

There are a couple of cabins available on the cove where we are camping if anyone is interested.

Hey Bryce we are planning on doing a lot of trips  this year maybe the next one.

The local weather is looking good for this weekend. Calling for rain Thursday night and ending early Friday with highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 40s.

Doesn't look like we're going to make it guys. Ive got a popping carb that I need to fix and last night I think I heard what sounds like a CV going bad.

Get it fixed and meet us at the camp out.
