New show on History channel. Lost in Transmission.

Tonight at 10:00 pm there is a show called Lost In Transmission with Rutledge from Top Gear (American version) . They are going to restore a Thing.

The first one was good, but I don't think it will last. Rutledge is a great guy and it's filmed in GA. I'm a fan but I'm hoping for the best.

i watch a lot of these dumb car shows but had a hard time watching this one -even though a vw was involved. too many dumb jokey bits for me.

I watched it till Rutledge was about to trade a K5 blazer and $1K for a POS Caprice Donka Mobile.
I could not stomach it after the commercial interruption so I changed it.
He had Rossi headlights in the double cab and they just didn't look right.
I had high hopes for this show with his love of VW's...

I think both episodes show more footage of them eating at diners than actually building the cars. I don't see this one lasting long.
