Atlanta Motor Speedway

September 5th 2015 9:00am-6:00pm

Treffen South is a car show dedicated to the VW air and watercooled community and all other brands under the VAG umbrella. This will be a top 20 car show with awards for all of the "best of" catagories. There will be lots of cool parts and swag given away throughout the day. Entry is FREE for everyone. There will be a track cruise around Atlanta Motor Speedway for $10 per car. Food vendors will be setup all day.
   
There will be FREE goodie bags for the first 200 pre-registered show cars.

I plan on hitting this show and possibly camping, too. My hope is that this becomes the next Southern Worthersee. Not the SoWo of recent years in which Helen was flooded with hipsters dragging their lowered Mk5s around on expensive wheels, but the roots from which SoWo came from. In the early years it was a small gathering of true enthusiasts.

I think it will be a good time. If you are looking for camping near the track check these guys out http://www.gossdrivecamping.com/ I talked to them a little while back. They have a house that is basically on the same property as AMS and they let people camp in their yard. I don't think they have bathrooms though.

Also if you plan on camping I saw that the track will have the bath house open for campers!
