Re: dashboard light replacements
I've got 6 volt and 12 volt bulbs for $1 each. Have the light sockets too if they break when you pull them out.
Re: dashboard light replacements
Oreillys is the only local auto parts store I've found them at.

Probably not Brian. Have to get them from Wilson or online someplace.

Re: dashboard light replacements
That's what I figured. I know most of the flaps have 6V headlight bulbs.

I have been looking to put LEDs in mine there is a company on Mountain Industrial in Tucker called Atlanta Light Bulb. They had the standard bulbs as well.

Re: dashboard light replacements
If you are creative and can solder, its nothing to make led lights for a speedometer using 6 volts. this is one I built for 12 volt and I have built some for 6 volt but I can't find one right now. Search for an led resistor calculator to figure out what resistor to use. The resister is in the holder surrounded by an epoxy putty, which glues it in place. If you want to make easier use a foam ear plug as a holder. If I had access to the holders I'd make them and sell them.

Re: dashboard light replacements
They do not work with oil pressure and generator. I assume because of the way the lights are activated in the circuit, backlight and high beam, I think, turn are no problem. back light is awesome because you can change the color and make it brighter. My white 73 Baja had green accents.mrfeather wrote:I have been looking to put LEDs in mine there is a company on Mountain Industrial in Tucker called Atlanta Light Bulb.
