71 Super GERMAN LOOK
Well it's on the road after 2 years. Not finished with but it at least looks good enough to drive.
Looking for other VW nuts in the west Georgia Area.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
I love the German look on Supers. If I owned one, that's the way I'd roll it. Nice car dude.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
Thanks
I have got several people ask about the car.
I have only put money into this because I got it for $1.00. I felt I could afoard to put a little money into it.
Normaly I would not keep a Super Beetle. But I like this one. It has been a little different working on it since I have only had one other SB and that was some 23 years ago.
I will be adding things to the car every week .
Thanks again

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
Notice the new front bumper on in the last picture.
I will take the turn signals off the fender one day and fill them in. But for now I will run with both of them.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
is that a yota i see in the garage, i cant tell but by the coil overs under there i can say that you might have the rear linked. I just recently put my rock crawling hobby on hold, kinda got to expensive and i never have time to wheel.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
I have never been a fan of them either but...............
I got the car from my father-in-law for $1.00
I was all original and had a shimmy in the front end.
The rest is history. I felt I could spend a little on making it lok nice.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
Very nice, Your car has changed my outlook on Supers. So much that I'm kind of looking for one. I want to do this to it.....
I like the rear fenders and wheel size. Also the mirrors. The curved wind screen helps with the over all scheme.

Re: 71 Super GERMAN LOOK
I did use all Top Line parts. Not hard just time consuming. Be careful of the strut springs. Those are the most difficult thing to mess with. You can call me anytime you want to to discuss this. I would be glad to talk to you. 678-860-4360Goped406 wrote:do you have the topline lowering kit on yours? and i was wondering if you rebuilt the front suspension? if so how difficult was it. i have a 71 super and i need to rebuild the front suspension
