Yes it was a good GA dub day . Thanks kathy and all those that made it a great weekend. Special thanks to everyone that supported your local vendors and mechanic shops without them this hobby would not be as large and great as it is today.

I would like to ad my "thank yous" to Kathy and everybody with SEVWA. A really fun event and great people all enjoying beautiful weather and dubs. We appreciated all the nice comments on our Savannah Bus, seeing friends and making new ones. Hope to see everybody again at Y U Buggin.

Glad to hear all you guys had a Great time! Sorry we weren't able to produce more race cars for you to see. We will have to see what we can do to get more of those guys to come down.

We were low on help for the show, so glad to see you guys didn't notice that! LOL
There are things that we will be getting to help improve the event for the future. One thing we had talked about was an actual Cruise in the area. The cruise-in is great, but maybe meet somewhere and end there.

Had a great time.too. . Didnt meet too many folks but, got to see the real VWs instead of a little pic in the corner of the screen.lol . And got to buy a few things, jeff hooked me up and lightened my wallet for me. Maybe ill git the.baja back together today.

Old thread revived, I know, I apologize. I wanted to post up the videos of the drag races that I finally uploaded today.

Isn't VW drag racing great! I was watching a video of a 2012 mustang at a drag strip in Newport, TN (there is a vw drag show there this weekend). A drag bug could kick it's butt any day, top speed on the 1/8 mile was 42. One team at Farmington topped 147 last month on the 1/8 mile! Wish my 1200 would do that.
