try to replace the frame head on the pan thats on the car that has good pans
or put new pan halves on another pan i have and just swap the body?

Just shortened mine 1 1/2 straight but putting a set of shims in bottom for caster. Wasn't hard @ all. Went ahead and sleeved the inside before mating, then strapped exterior. May be over kill but wanted to make sure it is safe.

Nothin wrong with that, no way I would ride in something that has a crap load of rust or pieced together, my but is sitting on it to boot!! Just say'n.

well i got too looking at the pan yesterday and there is a huge hole in the tunnel that someone cut out to replace the clutch cable so i have a useless pan... so i guess im gunna buy pan halfs now
