None until this evening. With Drew's help, I got the brake lines finished up and the rear shocks on then welded the dampner bracket on and got the dampner installed. I'll be getting tires swapped around and the brakes bled and adjusted hopefully tomorrow. then next on the agenda is to round up all the missing parts for the engine and get it installed.

Re: 64 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle.
sweet ride tim. we fought with installing a sunroof on jerrys 64 Sat night of BAP. 2 hours in we decided it would be a manual slider. those cables are a nightmare to get in at 6 in the morning.

Re: 64 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle.
I got my fog lights wired up and turned them on, and 1 blew right away and went through about 3 headlights blowing. these are just on the right side and I'm having a tough time understanding why.

Wish you were a little closer dude, I love messing with electrical wiring! Keep at it, you'll get it going soon enough.

I hope to see this car at Y U! What are those funky bulbs in the headlights? They look pretty cool.
Re: 64 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle.
I don't rightly know what they are. I picked this set of lights up somewhere a while back. Just been waiting on the right car to put them in. I hope to be driving it by next weekend.

Re: 64 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle.
Well, I did crank it and drive it today. I only made it to my dad's house next door then had to be towed back to the garage. It died and didn't want to restart. I'm still trying to get it to YUBuggin. We shall see.

I think I may have broken a record for the VW i kept the longest with Lil Red. I'm selling her tomorrow. If all goes well I'll be back in a splitty soon.

Thinking we should start a pool for how long you keep the splitty when you get it.

Re: 64 Ruby Red Sunroof Beetle.
The plan is to keep this one. I've been wanting another since I sold my other one. I told myself if I get another, I am gonna keep it. I just hope I don't get in a bind about money again. Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me.
