Picking up a 67 Bug tomorrow

Hello!

My VW's have always been like stray cats and dogs, when the time is right one will show up. A one owner 67 Beetle just found me. The last time it was tagged was in 1998.

I think that it is in good shape. All of the parts are there and the surface is not too bad. Hopefully there will not be too many surprises.

No long term plans for the car. I just want to get it back on the road.

I will go get it sometime tomorrow or Sunday. I just need to get a tow dolly or tow bar.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

Got the bug home today! What a journey. Two flat tires...

If you are interested, I have started a thread under readers rides. Looks like I will have to wait 7 days or so until I can post pics.

Buy two new wheels, 4 tires, rebuild the brake system and revive the dormant motor.

You're close enough, you can just get the tires and push the car to the show!
