Re: Georgia Dub Networking
I am a power system coordintor at Georgia Power. They changed our title that sounds fancy. I sit and control and monitor all of the transmission lines across the state 46kv up to 500kv. If the lights ever go out like a whole town or city wide its me. So you can think of me when we have bad storms. Alot of times when your lights go out i get them back on from downtown sitting at a big computer.

I work for Paulding County as an elementary school art teacher, been teaching in Ga and Fl for almost 15 years now. Before that I was a commercial and custom artist in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. Still creating fine art (paintings and murals) and custom painting/glass etching on the side, out of my studio at home. Check out my website, and call me if you get an itch for some personnal art
Heres one of my paintings-
Its showing a few of my previous rides, taking up yard space years ago.
I'm going to have some prints of this, and a few others soon

Re: Georgia Dub Networking
Well I work in the Water/Wastewater industry. I'm employed by Clayton County Water Authority(CCWA). I handle all the electrical needs of the company. I'm licensed with the state of Georgia as an Electrical Contractor but I do not do any electrical work outside CCWA. I need all my personal time for my VW fetish. I've been with CCWA less than a year but I worked for Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer(WSA) for twelve years before CCWA. I also am involved with my church Praise and Worship band, a christian classic rock band "JudahCats". I play Bass Guitar!
Hey sploval, didn't I see a video of your car doing Doughnuts in the snow last year sometime? After a snowy Jan meeting at Herrell's? We didn't go because it was so cold and Snowy!

You do the same as my wife. She is a systems coordinator for Meag power. Odd hours but loves her job! She moved east years back and we met in Sc, kid her about the blackouts in CA stopped when she left!!!!! She did redeem herself a few years ago when the big blackout came from Canada, her grid was the stopping point.
As for me, I work with Access Controls. Gate systems, card entry, cameras. Love my line of work as well. Only job I know of that includes ditch digging, heavy equipment operation, welding, fabrication, high and low voltage wiring, concrete work, and computer programming. Just about every line of work rolled up into one. Never know what your doing day to day. On a back hoe today, repairing a gate a drunk drove thru the next, then training at a military base on software the next, or setting up a telephone entry system to a famous rappers house. Interesting line of work!
