If it's not this or that somethings always wrong to the point where I'm starting to not have faith in her anymore. Just put in oil an hour ago and I get I. And drive and a mile down the road my oil light comes on. So stranded again waiting for dad. Starting to realize that not going away to college was a good thing.

What's funny is I blew the motor two weeks ago from yesterday on my way home from school. Question to daily drivers how many miles do you put on your dub in a day

What weight oil are you using? If 20-50, then the oil may be collecting in your valve covers, and not draining out to the sump fast enough, especially if you have a stock motor, with no termo, or flaps. the motor stays to cool, and the oil never gets hot enough. This was a big problem on my 74 super, a while back, (i could never find a good thermostat, so i removed the flaps alltogether) i had to use 5-20, as the 20-50 was just to thick. I'm actually having the same problem now in my 2074cc motor. if i rev it too high, the oil light flickers on. I tried using 0-20 syntetic, and the problem went away. if you start the bug up after you stop do you have pressure, or does the light stay on, even after stopping?

also, when you said the motor blew up, what exactly happened? did you rebuild the same motor, or a different motor?

oh, ans trust me, i've had these little things keep happeneing, and sometimes i get frustrated, but just take a breather, grab a beer (or a root beer in my case, lol), chillax the rest of the day, and come back to it the next day, with a fresh mindset. You'll do more harm then good, if you work on your bug in a hurry, or when frustrated.

I ya ever need a hand with anyting, just it me up. I'd be glad to come over and give ya a hand with anyting.
