They don't care - they just check the vin to make sure it isn't stolen. When they came and checked my '73 it was in pieces in the garage.

omfg that's none of anyone's business. Thanks guys. Im happy shes running. we are trailoring it to pcb tomorrow and staying for a week.

took out the transmission about a week ago. a friend up the street from us is tearing into it to see if he can figure out what is wrong with the 49 year old tranny.

on the way back from AMS it started makin some weird sounds and so we pulled it out and now bertha is sittin on some jack stands and not moving for awhile.

in the mean time im lookin for a cheap small truck to slam and be able to haul some parts and stuff and be able to get to school and have something reliable to drive back and forth to school.

I once hauled a bug motor in the backseat of my bug, lol. took the seat itself out, and layed down a tarp. plus the engine itself was in three trashbags to keep the grease and oil inside, lol.
