New Guy from Middle Georgia

Hello everyone. New to this site but have been in middle Georgia for 11 years and have been wrenching VWs since 1978. I have a 1974 Karmann Ghia coupe and at one time was the founder and president of the Middle Georgia VVDubbers club here in Warner Robins. The club folded a few years back and since I have been the organizer of the East Coast Karmann Ghia Treffen. As I said I have a 74 Ghia that I have been rebuilding for 8 years as time and $$$ permit. About ready to put her on the road in time for the SEVWC Shootout in Reynolds GA next month. If there is a VW club in middle Georgia that you know of please let me know. Thanks

Welcome and that's a real kool avarta LOL!!!! we were just talking Saturday about when is that Karmann Ghia Treffen going to be this year. Is it going to be at stone mountain park again? Well welcome and you'll enjoy the site as we all do.

We will be having the Karmann Ghia Treffen the day before Father's day as usual but it will be in Centerville GA which is attached to Warner Robins. Stone Mountain has become too expensive and Centerville is supporting us way more than Stone Mountain ever did. Check the show forum here for the flier and registration info.

i want to say welcome i also have a ghia i drive every day i am about to do a masive chop top on it i wnt the wind screen front and rear to be 4 to 6 inches at the most you can see what he ghia looks like at www.bugglife.com

where in centerville are yall doing it at? i would like to come out and have a look at some local guys cars.
