I have a problem now with my car, it's hard to start after it sits for about 5 min. It never did this before and it also has a strong fuel smell. Do I have a float/needle problem? What would cause this problem?

Check that as well as your fuel lines filter. Drive it like you would when it happens and let it sit and check your plugs.see if they have gas on them or smell strongly. Also check your filter and see what the gas looks like in it. The past few days have been fairly nice and it might be vapor locking.

One Biggie before any Check your oil and make sure there is no gas in the oil. If it is flooding will wash the oil from the cylinders and engine go boom...
