Pig On The Pit#6
The ATVW club will be having our annual pig cook out on October 24 25 26th.There is plenty of room for camping. All food will be provided for Friday and Saturday just need to bring your drink of choice. We cook the pig Friday night and eat it Saturday. We will also have another case burning. For those that haven't seen a case burn it's pretty cool to see what water does to magnesium. We usually have the rails and 4 wheelers running the trails too.
Fun for the whole family.
We just ask for donations to help cover the cost of the food.

Re: Pig On The Pit#6
I'm looking forward to it Joe. I'll be driving my bug again by then. This is a major cooking event, keeping the coals fed, flipping the whole pig, chopping, etc... etc... Everyone who comes needs to chip in. For all the time and work Joe puts into this event, there's no reason for him to have to foot any of the bill. Of course there will be informal tech coaching all weekend. The pig is for Sat night. Everyone is on your own for dinner Friday, and breakfast and lunch Sat.
Sat night is a pot luck. The Augusta locals bring all kinds of good side dishes, and those of us from Athens (and elsewhere) bring $$ to pay for the pig, sauce, buns, pans, ingredients, etc...
Dogs are welcome, but they need to play nice with the other dogs that'll be there (at least 4 and a mean as hell stray cat )
