| everytime i say motor (when i'm reffering to cars), i always think to myself "its an engine!!!". its one of those things that i say knowing full well its wrong, but it doesn't really bother me. Now i gotta go. im going to tune the carb on my motor. hahaha, _________________ 61 Baja 952 Berrien Sand Rail unknown Sand Rail (GOT FOR FREE) Rusty beyond all repair Sand Rail 69 Baja (GOT FOR FREE) 1929 Mercedes benz kit car on 70 bug frame (GOT FOR FREE) 74 Super beetle: No longer turbo'd at the moment ...___ .(____) (O\ ! /O) ..ll......ll.............

I hate loose-lose, I hate it even more when I read it in an online news article. _________________ Scott

| I'll jump in... I agree with Scott's engine/motor explanation. It's just hard to throw out some of the long accepted phrases that we're so used to, like "motoring around in the bus". It sounds so normal. I "tool" around in the bus, 'cause I have to carry a bunch of tools. I guess that's where that came from. My weird word is "lightning". Lightning is the streak you see in the sky in a thunderstorm. It's a noun, like rain or hail or sleet. So when lightning is ocurring, is it "lightning" or "lightning-ing"? |

KC | What's weird is that they call it an inboard or outboard motor but what it bolts to is a transom engine mount, jack plate engine mount, etc._________________ Scott Burel "Call me if I need you" 71 Standard Beetle, "Big Bird" 74 Westfalia, "Winifrid" www.burelphotography.com**Future CS Club Member**

Just remember "A toyota's a Toyota". or "If I had a Hi-Fi" , "No lemons no melon", "Was it a car or a cat I saw", "Do geese see god" and theres "No X in nixon" | Longest single palindrome, detartrated. Or the Finnish word saippuakivikauppias. Or the Dutch Koortsmeetsysteemstrook. And finally, the worlds longest palindromic poem. Dammit I’m mad. Evil is a deed as I live. God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt. To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss. Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help? Man, it is hot. I’m in it. I tell. I am not a devil. I level “Mad Dog”. Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp, In my halo of a mired rum tin. I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin. Is evil in a clam? In a trap? No. It is open. On it I was stuck. Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web. Be still if I fill its ebb. Ew, a spider… eh? We sleep. Oh no! Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position. Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name. Both, one… my names are in it. Murder? I’m a fool. A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash. A Goddam level I lived at. On mail let it in. I’m it. Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet! A loss it is alas (sip). I’d assign it a name.N ame not one bottle minus an ode by me: “Sir, I deliver. I’m a dog” Evil is a deed as I live. Dammit I’m mad._________________ Scott Burel "Call me if I need you" 71 Standard Beetle, "Big Bird" 74 Westfalia, "Winifrid" www.burelphotography.com**Future CS Club Member** |
