Ok..maybe this is just me...but the word that I have a problem with is "restore." Too often it seems that this word is used incorrectly by folks in the car hobby to describe any car that has had some work done to it. To me, restoring a car means to bring it back to the condition it was in when it rolled off the assembly line. Lowering, funky paint, loud stereo, and big engines are not part of a restoration. Not that I don't appreciate those things.

Is it just me?

No it's not just you. The proper term would be "restomod" a combination of restore and modification. If I had put a little more work into the body of my bus, it would fall in the restomod area but, as it sits, it's just a bad ass daily driver.

English Genius
You scored 93% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!
