Hello. I'm new to the forum and have been just lurking for the past couple weeks, but I just had to respond to this topic.

This is my 75 CB750 bobber that I built about 7 years ago. I sold it a couple years ago to fund my VW project, but I'll wind up building another one when the VW is done.

Awesome bike, but where is the dub?

In pieces in my garage, awaiting a chunk of metal from a donor car.

Here's a pic of what it looked like when I bought it.

The right rear quarter panel has been changed in the past and they did a horrible job. They used a partial panel from a donor car and rebuilt the body line below the window with 1/2" thick layer of bondo from the door all the way back to the top of the rear fender. I've got a 10"x48" section on the way from a rollover, so it should be spliced in and smoothed over by spring...hopefully.

Here is my $265.00 basket case I picked up and rebuilt. The guy disassembled it and left it outside for two years. I wish now that I had taken a before picture. When my wife first saw it she had a fit about it saying that it was hopeless.
