I'm not really sure that it's a good candidate for a donor, it looks more like an easy fix, daily driver or patina ride.

well i am sure someone will take it off my hands... i am taking the engine,trans,wheels, and a few other asorted parts..all in all the bug is in easy restorable shape compared to lots of the other ones i see around here.. i just dont have room for it.

i have no problem getting rid of the tank. it hasnt been ran in awhile so i would give the thing a good flush and cleaning. the sending unit and all that gcan go with it too...i am gonna check but i think he gas guage is in the middle of the spedometer. which i was going to use to he buggy..

I am interested in the Body / Pan leftovers.
I have engines and Transmissions.
I must say I am surprised by the lack of rust comming from MI.

well i wasnt really a michigan car but for 2 summers.. it was restored in 1998 by my father and he let my sister take it to michigan to have a car to drive. it was garaged in the winter and barely driven because she had no idea on how to keep it running properly...we brought it back down here one summer and the paint has slowly faded and that is where it is today.
