I think they are prob from the 60's. If I remember right, I got em for three dollars. Cool

Vintage can of car wax and nice oil can recovered from an old barn:

i had found a can of oil like that a while ago, in my workshop (i think it was mobil, but i can't remember). it had a date of 1968. when i picked it up, it was still full, and unopened, but it was badly rusted on top (the top lip held water). as i was brushing it off, the top started to crack, and the can gave off a horrible amonia-like smell. it was so bad, my nose was burning from the smell. i took the can and sealed it in a bag and threw it away. i would have kept the can, but whatever that oil turned into, was toxic. Laughing

I've still got my old sled just like this one. I'll dig it out and snap a pic of it...

Okay, well maybe it's not JUST like it, but it's my old Flexible Flyer from around 1979-1980. It's been taken pretty good care of over its' life. If you'll look in the upper right corner you can still see what's left of the Scarborough & Dale Hardware's price sticker Very Happy

Here are a few old oil filters, oil cans, lighter fluid bottles & Coke bottles my Dad gave me when he was cleaning out his old shed. I still have a lot of other neat old stuff that came out of there, too. Like a hubcap that came from the Dodge 15 passenger van I learned to drive in affraid
