ive been redoin my 64 for a couple of months now.been fixin some dents,dings,and some rust spots on her.and bout to paint it.hoping to have it all finished in about 3 months.ive put a 6.1/2 in. adjustable beam on it it with 2.1/2 in. drop spind. 125/70 r 15 tires on front.ive also built a 3.1/2 in. tranny mount that i just installed.and have the spring plates turned up as far as they will go. if you are looking for a SLAMMMMMMED vw. then ive got one bout to be on the market for sale. its got a 40 horse engine thats been rebuilt cleaned up and mice paint job.ive drove the engine for 3 years everyday in my first car 1959 hardtop beetle. last bugapaluza i took the engine and trans out of the 59 and through it in this 64. i had entered it in the the show. it was 2 toan tellow and white but now is gunna be 2 toan,allmond and kakai..will soon to have pics. of the car 100% finished in a couple of months..also have before and after shots of it on myspace. the email address is TASHANCHASE@HOTMAIL.COM..will have more info. l8r
