Just wanting to let everyone know that The varsity @town center is having a car show this weekend on sunday the 27th. All cars are welcome. It is 20 to enter and goes to a benfit. The show starts at 12pm. If anyone in the cumming area wanted to meet somewhere and ride out just let me know.

Have you got anymore info on this? I couldn't find out anything about it online.

Hey this sounds like a hotrod or car show. But this could be a good thing for the VW guys.
Let's invade this show with GEORGIA DUBS and just get out and enjoy the day. It starts at
12:00pm so let's try to rolling there as a family(Georgia Dubs) and enjoy this outing before
the sugar hill show. So how about guys

Could probably make this, just down the street from me. What time are you guys showing up? We could all park right accross the street in the mall lot and see how many hot rodders will cross the road to check them out!

Well count me and two or three other Dubs coming up from the eastside. The show starts at 12pm so we can meet you guys accross the street at the mall around 12:30pm. Hope we can get couple other Dubs to come on out and show those hotrods that Vee Dubs are here to stay LOL. See you guys then

Just called a few friends, hopefully they will make it as well. Going Sat morning to trade my bug for a boat so trying to re-schedule that and/or make it back in time. But do plan on being there. Get 20-40 v-dubs out there and plan an engine start at the same time really get their attention! From the scavenger hunts the security guards have seen me in and out of there and always give me thumbs up so will make their day.

Why did the rodder cross the road? To see a real car of course!!! Well maybe to throw up the greasy crap from Varsity too but at least he had a good view!

Sunday looks like it's going to be a nice day for riding. Hope the guys on the southside(airheads)& the guys in Gwinnett(Addicts) come out. I will really be great if we get that 20Dubs out there but hell 10 is ok

I am new to the GA Dubs and would like to know how these things work? CAn someone give me some info on what all goes on at the shows?

There are different types of shows-
Some are highly organized -(multiday events with activities/camping, entertainment, awards, vendors etc....)
Some are less structured, but may have judging and awards for different classes or catagories of cars.
Sometimes they are just 'get togethers', where you get to admire others cars, talk shop or talk smack, and everyone has a good time.
There are also cruises and cruise nights....and there is a difference.
Cruises can be organized for charitable causes, such as a Toys for Tots run, but not always. Sometimes they are just to get somewhere as a group and have fun.
Cruise Nights are once a month get togethers where everyone brings their cars out, parks them and hangs out. Almost always these are a saturday evening event, and there is one somewhere every weekend starting in March/April through Sept/October.
