Savannah Trip, Spied Some Dubs

so last weekend, I was dragged to savannah georgia with my mom and sister to go camping on "Tybee Island". I thought it wouldnt be much fun, especially since i didnt get to drive the bug Sad

but all things aside i snapped some cool pics, and even saw two VWs, one of which was very sick. here are some pics. i actually think some of us should get together and go camping down here with our dubs, great clean sites basically in the jungle with full showers and stuff nearby. enjoy Smile

On your way down to Savannah, you should have tried to stop at the VW junk yard in Statesboro, I have some pictures in a past thread. And there is a guy in downtown Savannah who has a about a dozen Bay windows to sale parts from. There are many VW's around here, but the owners are not affiliated to any clubs, or at least I do not know of any clubs down here.

Where are you at Peter? I am actually in Port Wentworth tonight and will be heading back towards Atlanta early tomorrow. Maybe next time we can get together. I will be back in a month.

I live in Glennville, exit 116 in I-16 Statesboro/Claxton takes you in a straight shot to Glennville (about 30 miles). But When you come down again, let me know and I could meet you at the exit and we can go down to Billy's Import and check out some VW's.

yep thats how you do it, small subtle changes with nice wheels and slammed. no body kits. lips and skirts are all thats needed. then go under the hood....
