The steering wheel in my '67 bus is out of whack. When the wheels are straight the two spokes are cocked at 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock and after 12 years of staring at it it's starting to bug me. It's easy on a beetle but on a bus, don't you have to remove the steering arm from the steering box, straighten the wheel, and tighten her back down on a different set of splines?

Nope. You disconnect the drag link from the arm on the box and center the wheel. The drag link

is threaded in the front and you tighten it or loosen it to get it to match the arm on the box and reconnect it.
