Some friends of mine informed me that her dad had an old bus just sitting at there lake house. Many many years ago he was a mechanic at one of the metro VW dealers and had parked an old bus at his property. She knew nothing about it. She brought me a photo of it from behind. She did state that he had put a ton of parts inside the bus. Dont know much more. In the picture it shows a small rear hatch and little round tail lights. I do see a transaxle with wheels and tires sitting to the right of it. I will post a picture tomorrow of the photograph I have. It looks a little rusty but I will go get it anyway.
I think I have spotted another early bus in the woods near my house as well. I might be in the bus business soon!!!!

I love to go looking for abandoned VW vehicles, or even muscle cars. I love the concept CARS IN BARNS. It gives you a feeling of a treasure hunter. I just wish I had the money and space to recover some of this barn finds I have seen in the last year. Can't wait to see your find. Good luck!
