No real problems with Brakes till now.
Setup....
Disk brakes front, Drum Rear, New dual circuit MC, Stainless Flex lines, new steel lines. Level in res looks good, used OG brake res with tee to the MC. Prestone DOT 3 Synthetic fluid. Like I said no brake problems till now.
The Problem....
Hot afternoons the brakes drag, seems like the rears. Mornings I have a spongy or no pedal at all in the afternoon or heat pedal is tight.
Theory....
I was leaning to a bad MC but if it were bad I'd have this problem all the time? Very hard pedal afternoon, soft pedal in mornings. Seem like MC is not releasing correctly. Not rod adjustment I made sure it had a small amount of play.
What I've checked...
-Res Level OK
-Rear drums hot after long ride, spit on finger to drum = sizzle.
-Fronts seem to be normal temp(they have drug a bit from start)
-Lot of play in the pedal after car sits for a while.
-No Leaks any where
-Tried bleeding brakes today and I can't or have on pressure on pedal at all. Can't build pressure to bleed.
I really think the MC is stick in, not returning all the way back out.
I'm pulling my hair out on this one.
