Does anyone want to go to pull-a-part (Conley) Saturday morning? I know Bob was talking about it.

lol, i was just there the other day (right before that Ghia was placed there Mad ), lol. i snagged a header with bearly any rust, off one of the bugs there. as well as a good origional hood emblem, and rear volkswagen decklid tag. still had the motor, and a good dent free, rust free, stock fan shroud. was gonna snag it too, but didn't have a wrench to fit the upper decklid standoffs (or whatever you call them, hahaha).

After the conley pull a part, we might want to also head over to the east pull a part (not too far from conley), because they also had two bugs (which i also took a look at). one was a 74 super, and the other was a 1970 baja bug (listed as a 69, but actually a 70). They were both pretty much complete. the super had an extra pair of struts inside. the 70 baja, had a balljoint beam, and is pretty much already out, just hanging on by the tierod, but could prolly slide it off, if you bring a crow bar, to bend the body supports off the top of the frame head. it was pretty worn out (balljoints were bad, and drums were wobbly (bad bearings?)), but beam wasn't bent or anything.

anyhoo, just thought i'd throw that out there.

Any idea of a time for this? I'm interested, but got a lot to do that afternoon.
