Whoo, finally back home after an 11 hour flight. I'm sure there are many more VW's over there, but like I said, I was in the very crowded touristy places where a bug would probably get beat to death. Tim, we were over there for about 17 days with stops in Italy, Greece, and Turkey. When I get the cash and time for another project, I'll search for a good vw for a while, but if I don't find one, I may look into getting an old Fiat 500. They were all over the place in Rome. I must have seen at least 100 of them. They are very cool looking and have a ragtop. Although from looking them up online, it appears they are only around 500cc (23hp), so I'd have to see If I could cram a 1600 in one.

I'll try and post a few of the vw pics I did get in a few days, though none of them turned out very well.
Here is what the fiat looks like.
